Auslogics Disk Defrag 3 become smarter, faster

by Lee Mathews on April 11, 2011 at 11auslogics defrag: 00 AM Auslogics Disk Defrag has been part of my system maintenance toolkit for quite some time. With the release of version 3.2, it is now even better able to clean and optimize your computer's hard disks. In addition to offering a cleaner and easier to use interface, Disk Defrag 3.2 enhanced single file and folder defragging, better processing of multiple disks, a simplified scheduling screen and more informative ToolTips. Auslogics has also refined the defragmentation and file consolidation algorithms.

For laptop users, there is a new option to lock automatically if your computer is running on battery power--as scheduled operations not kick and drain your power source at an inappropriate time. If you happen to have a SSD installed in your computer, you can go to Disk Defrag options and exclude it from scanning (many think defragmenting a SSD is a very bad idea).

Auslogics Disk Defrag is free and works with most versions of Windows.
