Bing will begin the rollout of HTML5 enhanced search interface

by Sebastian Anthony on April 8, 2010 at 06Bing transitions: 30 AM Bing's new HTML5 and CSS3-extended search interface, which was shown first back in September 2010 to showcase the power of IE9, has begun to roll out.

Navigation tabs (maps, pictures, videos, etc.) and the most famous of the appendix to the new interface is smooth page transitions--fades in and out--now constantly floating at the top of the page. WinRumors reports that a function similar to the Google Instant search has been added to Bing, with page elements that smooth transition in and out as you type in your search query.

If you want to try out the new Bing UI, your best bet is to set your language to the United States-English and pray that you are part of the roll out. Alternatively, just wait a few days until the MIX 2011, Microsoft's Web Developer Conference, when the new Bing UI should be launched officially.
