Yigg news now to start as HTML5 Web app, now accepting beta testers

by Lee Mathews on 6 April 2011 at 03: 30 PM when Yigg news now landed in the Chrome Web store, it seemed that an indication that it can eventually be developed into a pure HTML5 Web app, now it seems that it is exactly what should happen, with Yigg news now announcing that is a new, not-just-for-Chrome Web client ready for beta testing.

It is a natural evolution for Yigg news now, especially since its original Adobe Air app is virtually all Web code. Yigg news now Web will sport a feature set is almost identical to the Chrome app, with the exception of the stream of Twitter.

Yigg news now initially targeted Firefox 4 and 3.6, Google Chrome, and Safari. Opera and Internet Explorer 9, will be invited not to dance until later.

If you want to get on the Yigg news now Web beta, head on over and register--or log in with your existing Yigg news now account. Tags: activity streams, ActivityStreams, apps, social, socialnetworking, streams, yigg news now, twitter, web, web apps, WebApps
